NORTH
RYDE COMMUNITY CLUB
Sydney, Australia
Acting
as consultants to Paynter Dixon, ECO HABITATS are advising
the Club on a World first - a glass aviary rising through three
floors, forming an atrium in the centre of this Club's multi million
dollar expansion.
This
walk-through feature will also be clearly viewed through 360°
giving restaurant and bar patrons a constantly changing vista
of brilliantly coloured birds in flight over waterfalls, etc.
Meanwhile
ECO HABITATS has constructed an intermediate aviary covering 250
square metres, incorporated as part of a gallery leading to the
new Mandalay Members Lounge. Birds are viewed through large ceiling-to-floor
picture windows looking onto a tropical rainforest setting with
cascading waterfall and creeks. Such rare birds as Blue and Gold
Macaws, multi-coloured Mandarin Ducks, and Sun Conures - in total
24 species fly together in this spectacular display
